We have an exciting opportunity for you to join Memorial Health University Medical Center which is part of the nation's leading provider of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare.Job Summary and QualificationsPerform radiology exams in compliance with regulatory agencies and department and hospitalpolicies and procedures.1. Sound technical knowledge and proficiency in the use of Radiology equipment including dailyupkeep & maintenance (Fluoroscopy, C-arms, portables, breast specimen imaging units,cystography tables and general imaging accessories in the radiology examination room)2. Perform Radiology exams as per protocol on a variety of different body parts in a timelymanner.3. Complete appropriate history forms when necessary4. Complete technologist exam sheets when necessary5. Stock exam rooms with required supplies6. Complete consent forms when necessary7. Check laboratory reports when necessary8. Perform data entry in Meditech using accurate times and entries9. Mark all images taken as verified/ dictated in PACS10. Scan documents into PACS and attach to correct patient/exam11. Send exams from PACS or modality to the Amicus tele-rad system when necessary12. Enter exam notes on PACS13. Verify orders in chart and properly identify patients prior to the performance of anyradiographic exam. Follow physician written orders.14. Initial chart with date/time when exam is complete15. Interact with staff radiologists, other physicians and other Imaging staff. Communicateeffectively with customers as necessary (physicians, patients, co-workers, etc).16. Start/Remove I.V. lines when necessary17. Transport patients to and from the ER and other Imaging departments when necessary18.
