This position will represent the County in a professional and effective manner and establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, County employees, Elected/Appointed Officials, outside organizations and agencies, vendors and the general public. Flexibility to achieve performance excellence in a telework arrangement.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nDevelops and supports Workday Integrations utilizing Cloud Connects, Document Transformations, RAAS Reports, Enterprise Interface Builders (EIB), and Workday Studio.\nParticipates in the maintenance and support of all Workday and ERP system modules and applications.\nDesign, Build, Test, and Deploy Workday Integration solutions using Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, Cloud Connect and Workday Studio.\nDesign, Build, Deploy, Enhance, Maintain solutions in Workday Extend.\nAutomates data import and export and user account modifications for eCIFM TRIRIGA Enterprise Asset management Solution.\nModifies existing Appian application eInvoice. (adds user, menu options, modifies or creates workflows)\nBuild supporting documentation for all new integrations; maintain documentation for existing integration modifications.\nFollow documented development standards, procedures when building, testing, and deploying integrations.\nProtect and exercise discretion when working with sensitive employee data.\nSupport functional areas with enhancements/modifications to existing integrations.\nPerform routine testing of all supported integrations twice per year in preparation for the Workday releases.\nMonitor for Integration Errors and troubleshoot as necessary.\nMentor other developers on the team.\nContinued enhancement of technical skills through formal Workday training and self-learning.\nMaintains a close working relationship with management of all departments\nPerforms other related technology duties and projects as assigned\nMinimum Qualifications\nGraduation from an accredited college or university with a relevant degree, five (5) or more years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience\nMust have experience with Workday, SAP, Infor/Lawson, or similar ERP systems is required\nMust have experience in systems analysis and programming methodologies\nHighly skilled in analytical and problem solving; good communication and interpersonal skills\nAbility and willingness to learn new systems and technologies; ability to effectively communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner across functional and technical departments, both verbally and in writing; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, stakeholders, County employees, Elected/Appointed Officials, outside organizations and agencies, vendors and the general public.\nMust secure and maintain a favorable background investigation and clearance\nMust clear a pre-employment physical and a pre-employment drug screen test\nRequired to be on call 24 hours\nMay be required to work more than 40 hours during the work week\nMay be required to work weekends\nThis position may need to satisfy the requirement of completing and passing an assessment during the employment process\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in relevant field such as computer science, computer information systems, etc.\n3-5 years’ of Workday Integration development experience.\nAdvanced knowledge of Workday EIB, Studio, Cloud Connect, and Extend development.\nFamiliarity with Web Services, SOAP, XML, XSLT, REST, JSON, HTTP, SSL, PGP, SAML a plus.\nAdvanced knowledge of the Appian platform and programming model a plus.\nSAP experience a plus.\nUnderstanding Extend Development is a plus.\nWorking Environment and Physical Demands:\nConstantly working in indoor / telework conditions\nFrequently moves items weighing up to 10-15 pounds\nOccasionally moves objects weighing up to 15-30 pounds\nOccasionally move about the office / telework office\nFrequently communicates with others using approved technological resources; must be able to exchange accurate information through designated systems within a timely manner\nConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery\nPositions self to perform essential functions of the job in an office / telework environment\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position\nFlexibility to achieve performance excellence in a telework arrangement\nMaintains County-issued equipment, software, data and supplies\nSupplemental Information\nWorkstations with internet access are available, if needed, to view job postings and apply online at 211 S Flores, San Antonio, TX 78204, 8am – 5pm, Monday through Friday.
