This department works closely with both our internal and external customers to ensure FLSmidth equipment’s on time delivery and customer satisfaction.\nYour responsibilities\nInventory Management:\nMonitor and maintain accurate inventory records, including data entry and regular updates.\nConduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile with system records to ensure accuracy.\nManage inventory levels to meet production requirements while minimizing excess stock and obsolescence.\nImplement and maintain effective inventory control procedures and best practices.\nStock Optimization:\nAnalyze inventory data to forecast future needs and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.\nCollaborate with procurement and production teams to plan and adjust inventory levels based on demand, lead times, and production schedules.\nIdentify and address slow-moving or obsolete inventory items, proposing strategies for their utilization or disposal.\nReceiving and Dispatch:\nOversee the receiving process, ensuring that all incoming materials and products are accurately inspected, counted, and recorded.\nCoordinate the timely and accurate dispatch of materials and products to production lines or customers, ensuring that all relevant documentation is completed.\nReporting and Analysis:\nGenerate regular reports on inventory levels, turnover rates, and other key metrics for management review.\nProvide insights and recommendations for inventory management improvements based on data analysis.\nCompliance and Safety:\nEnsure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations within the warehouse.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.\nSystem and Process Improvement:\nUtilize inventory management software and other tools to track and manage inventory effectively.\nContinuously review and improve inventory control processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.\nTeam Collaboration:\nWork closely with other departments, including procurement, production, logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless inventory flow and alignment with overall business objectives.\nProvide training and guidance to warehouse staff on inventory management practices and procedures.\nWhat you bring\nProven experience (5~7 years) in Inventory management.\nStrong knowledge of inventory management principles, logistics processes, and warehouse operations best practices.\nProficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, and other relevant technology tools.\nExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.\nAnalytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize operations.\nStrong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges and driving continuous improvement.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.\nKnowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements related to warehouse operations\nWhat we offer\nCompetitive benefit package including Health Insurance, Personal Accident / Disability, Group Term Life Insurance, Annual health check-up, and voluntary insurance options.\nTime to recharge through 30 days PTO (with up to 10 days carry forward as Earned Leave stock)\nFinancial support for continuing education.\nEmployee Assistance Program.\nA global network of supportive colleagues and growth opportunities\nWe encourage applicants of all backgrounds and perspectives to apply - the more diverse our employees are, the stronger our team is.\nFLSmidth is a full flowsheet technology and service supplier to the global mining and cement industries.
