We are a therapist-owned and operated company.\nPosition Overview:\nAs a School-Based Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping students overcome communication challenges, improve their speech and language skills, and achieve their educational goals. Your expertise will be essential in promoting students' overall success and well-being in the school environment.\nResponsibilities\nThe Speech Language Pathologist will conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify students' communication disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.\nProvide evidence-based speech and language pathology interventions and strategies to improve students' communication, articulation, fluency, and language skills.\nCollaborate closely with educators, parents, and other members of the school-based team to create and implement strategies that support students' participation in the classroom and social activities.\nMonitor and document students' progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.\nOffer guidance and education to parents, teachers, and support staff on strategies to enhance students' communication skills and facilitate carryover into the classroom.\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date records, including session notes, progress reports, and billing documentation.\nStay current with the latest research, best practices, and techniques in speech-language pathology.\nParticipate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, team meetings, and school-based professional development opportunities.\nEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and ethical standards governing speech-language pathology services in schools.\nQualifications:\nMaster's degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.\nFlorida licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.\nCertificate of Clinical Competence (CCC SLP) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.\nExperience in pediatric or school-based speech-language pathology is highly desirable.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, educators, and support staff.\nExcellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload.\nDedication to providing culturally competent and student-centered care.\n\nBenefits:\nHealth Benefits on Day 1 (Medical, Dental, Vision) with 50% employer contribution\n401k with match and immediate vesting, 100% match for the first 3% and 50% for 4 % and 5%\nup to 40 hours PTO/sick time\nState Licensure Reimbursement\nNational Certification Stipend\nprofessional liability insurance\n\nPlease contact Samira Barra, M.S.P.
