Senior Systems Engineer
Job Description
Responsibilities:Lead critical efforts to prototype, develop, integrate, demonstrate, and test advanced Joint Tactical Integrated Fire Control (JTIFC) cross-Service kill chain capabilities in support of the MDA and Joint Services missionDevelop a high-fidelity radar simulation capable of representing current Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) systems, as well as supporting future concept developmentProvide radar expertise to key JTIFC efforts, specifically related to Electronic ProtectionDevelop and execute system architecture and design, systems documentation, systems requirements, and systems verificationMentor junior engineers in radar and Model & SimulationCoordinate efforts across the DoD services, to include multiple government and industry partners, through leadership in related Integrated Product Teams and Working GroupsProvide periodic program reviews and technical presentations to high-ranking Government stakeholdersBuild long-term relationships with new and existing customersDevelop and execute a research growth strategy with MDA and other Service organizations by identifying stakeholder needs and government and industry partners to leverage capabilities Qualifications:U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal LawActive Secret Clearance required and the ability to obtain a Top SecretBachelor's degree in Engineering or a related STEM field (Master's Degree preferred)15+ years of technical and project management experienceDemonstrated ability to plan and execute complex systems of systems integration efforts from initial concept definition through integration and test, incorporating complex threat scenariosExpert knowledge and experience with Missile Defense System (MDS) components, including sensors (RF/EO/IR), command and control, fire control, and weapons. This includes, but is not limited to, IBCS, THAAD, Aegis, CEC, TOC-L, F-35, CBC2, CAC2S, G/ATOR, and C2BMCExperience running complex systems of systems programs/projects across their lifecycle from concept definition through fielding and sustainmentExperience with and in-depth knowledge of DoD operations, concepts, and technologiesAbility to grow technical efforts and take on task leadership for the AgencyExcellent problem-solving skills and verbal and written communication skillsAbility to travel an estimated 2-4 trips per year with multiple destinations Full-Time position with an Employee-Owned company offering a comprehensive benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, Short-Term and Long-term Disability, and Life Insurance, FSA, Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), 401(k) Plan with company match, Tuition and Training Reimbursement, and Incentive Compensation.
