DSP (Direct Support Professional)
We are seeking an outgoing and personable Direct Support Professional (DSP) for our Male group home. This is a level 3 facility. So we are looking for a reliable candidate with a positive outlook, a passion for assisting individuals with developmental disabilities, and the drive to make a difference.

Shifts Available:
7:00a.m. - 3:00p.m. & 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. & 11 p.m. - 7:00a.m. Monday-Sunday
Experience
Ideal candidates are those that have worked with Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in any capacity such as: caregiver, ABA Therapist, Instructional Aide, Direct Care Staff, or Direct Support Professional.
Position Requirements:
Candidates…
Must have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Must have DSP training (Year 1 required, Year 2 preferred).
Must have a CA driver's license and a minimum of 2 year clean driving record.
Must pass fingerprint clearance and physical, including a TB-test.
Must be Responsible, Reliable, and Respectful.
Responsibilities Include:
Creating a safe and positive environment in the home.
Supporting clients to meet their daily needs and achieve their goals, according to their Individual Program Plans (IPP).
Diffusing aggressive behaviors utilizing de-escalation techniques.
Arranging group outings.
Helping the individuals to become more integrated and engaged with their community.
Documenting individuals’ progress, and maintaining regular, clear communication with staff, clients’ family members, and other involved parties.
Taking the individuals to community outings while representing the company in a professional and positive manner and also participating in the activities.
Providing transportation.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
