Its mission is to deliver innovative and effective combat capabilities for the Navy, Joint Forces, and the Nation, with a focus on emerging technologies such as directed energy, digital engineering, and advanced combat systems.\n\nPosition Description:\nThis position supports a combat systems engineering–focused contract and is part of a seven-person Systems Modeling team within a larger group of approximately 100 contractors.\n\nWork Location and Telework:\nThe primary work location is Dahlgren, Virginia. Candidates may be required to work on-site or near the base up to five days per week, depending on customer needs. Limited telework or work from a contractor location may be available with government approval.\n\nResponsibilities and Duties:\nThe Junior Systems Modeling Engineer will support Combat Systems Engineering activities in accordance with the Defense Acquisition Guide, providing systems engineering support across the full life cycle of naval warfare systems.
