The successful candidate will support government program management personnel in the planning, coordination, tracking, and execution of program activities.\n\nThis is an entry-level position well suited for an individual who is organized, dependable, comfortable working in a professional team environment, and interested in developing experience supporting DoD acquisition and program management activities.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nProvide day-to-day program management and administrative support to government and contractor team members.\n\nAssist with tracking program actions, tasks, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.\n\nPrepare and maintain reports, briefings, spreadsheets, trackers, meeting materials, and other program documentation.\n\nCoordinate meetings, develop agendas, capture meeting minutes and action items, and assist with follow-up activities.\n\nCollect, organize, and analyze program information to support status reporting and management decisions.\n\nAssist with maintaining project schedules, documentation repositories, and program records.\n\nSupport the preparation and review of presentations, correspondence, reports, and other technical or programmatic documents.\n\nCoordinate with government personnel, contractors, and other stakeholders to obtain information and resolve routine program actions.\n\nAssist with monitoring deliverables, deadlines, and contractual or program requirements.\n\nPerform basic research and analysis in support of program initiatives.\n\nSupport continuous improvement of program processes, documentation, and internal coordination.\n\nPerform other program management and administrative duties as required.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\nBachelor's degree in business, management, communications, engineering, social sciences, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.\n\n0–3 years of relevant professional experience.\n\nStrong organizational and time-management skills.\n\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.\n\nAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of an integrated government/contractor team.\n\nAbility to learn new processes, systems, and DoD terminology.\n\nU.S. citizenship required.\n\nAbility to obtain and maintain the security clearance required for the position.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nPrevious experience supporting the Department of Defense, Department of the Navy, or another federal government organization.\n\nFamiliarity with DoD acquisition, program management, or government contracting environments.\n\nExperience preparing briefings, tracking action items, maintaining schedules, or supporting project teams.\n\nExperience with NAVWAR or Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) organizations is a plus.\n\nWork Environment\n\nThe position supports a professional DoD program office environment and may involve interaction with government personnel, military personnel, contractors, and other stakeholders.
