A security background check is required, and if you have already completed a background check, then that is a plus!\nWhat You Will Get to Do:\nIn addition to general system engineering skills, candidate shall possess the following capabilities:\nProviding hardware engineering expertise to analyze complex hardware systems, hardware design, architecture, network design, and other technical hardware issues.\nProviding hardware maintenance support, both preventative and remedial.\nDeploying, Installing, and implementing hardware.\nPreparing specifications for hardware by analyzing documented and derived system requirements.\nConducting site surveys.\nPreparing engineering plans and site Technical Design Packages.\nConfiguring (and documents configuration of) computers, networking devices, and various peripheral equipment. Preparing site installations and test reports.\nEnsuring that problems have been properly identified and solutions will satisfy the user's requirements.\nPreparing reports and recommendations concerning existing and emerging hardware technologies.\nProviding specific input to the hardware components of system design to include end-user devices, servers, networking devices, data storage devices, and specialized processors.\nRequired Skills:\nMust have excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.\nThey coordinate with team members – those in project management, security, asset management, customer service or help desk departments – to solve problems and manage projects. Conflict resolution, analytical, and decision-making skills are crucial to the position as well.\nMust have one of the following DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 Certifications: SEC+ CE, CYSA, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CISSP, CASP, CISM\nQualifications You Will Bring :\nNo demonstrated experience is required.\nBachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
