We are looking for candidates with 8-10 years experience with cloud platform services and DevOps practices such as infrastructure as code and confirmation management automation.\r\nContributions\r\nResponsibilities include\r\nIdentify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for the customer\r\nDesign cloud environmentsand demonstrate technical cloud architectural knowledge, playing a vital role in the design of production, staging, QA, and development of cloud infrastructures running in 24×7 environments\r\nImplement and oversee cloud strategies includemigrations andoptimization\r\nEstablishingdevelopment tools and infrastructure for automation\r\nUnderstanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers\r\nAutomate and improve development, testing, deployment,and release processes\r\nTesting and examining code written by others and analyzing results\r\nPerform root cause analysis on complex business processes and technical components\r\nEnsuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats\r\nIdentifying technical problems, performing root cause analysis, and developing software updates and 'fixes'\r\nWorking with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended\r\nSupportenterprise Cloud applications or infrastructure throughinfrastructure as code including any activities around automated server or network configurations, large-scale software deployments, and monitoring and testing, such as CI/CD\r\nDocument as-is state of the environment, perform a gap analysis, and produce artifacts that articulate options and recommendations\r\nLeverage virtualization and containerization to optimize and modernize software systems\r\nAct as an individual contributor and mentor more junior team members\r\nEngineer and implement solutions and provide recommendations for continuous improvement for the services provided\r\nPresent regular status updates and provide cross training to other team members.\r\nQualifications\r\nRequired\r\nAbility to obtain a U.S. government Security Clearance\r\nBS Degree in an IT field OR BS in a non-IT field and 2 years related IT experience\r\n8 Years of Experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions\r\n8 Years of Experience with one or more clouds (i.e. AWS, Azure, or GCP)\r\n8 Years of Experience with Git SCM providers such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket\r\n8 Years of Experience with systems development in an Agile environment\r\n8 Years of Experience implementing infrastructure as code and orchestration\r\n8 Years of Experience integrating deployments with industry standard DevSecOps tooling and orchestration\r\n5 Years of Experience in several of the following areas: database architecture, ETL, business intelligence, big data, machine learning, advanced analytics\r\nLocal to the Atlanta metro area\r\nRequired to be onsite 2x per week\r\nPreferred\r\nMS Degree in an IT-related field\r\nCertifications\r\nAWS Certified DevOps Engineer\r\nAWS Certified Solution Architect Professional\r\nMicrosoft Certified DevOps Engineer Expert\r\nMicrosoft Certified Solution Architect Expert\r\nSAFe DevOps Certification\r\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills\r\nExperience with documenting an as-is state of the environment, perform a gap analysis, and produce artifacts that articulate options and recommendations preferred\r\nExperience with scripting in Concourse, Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby\r\nExperience implementing docker containers and utilizing platforms such as Kubernetes\r\nExperience with automation tools, including Pivotal, Chef, Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible\r\nAbout steampunk\r\nSteampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, competencies, and experience.
