Join our team and promote progress together with us!\nWe are seeking a Production Process Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing production processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective manufacturing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop and implement solutions to increase productivity, reduce costs, and improve product quality.\nProcess Engineer\n\nYour Tasks\nDesign, implement, and optimize production processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective manufacturing.\nDevelop and implement process improvements to increase productivity, reduce costs, and improve product quality.\nConduct data analysis and develop statistical models to identify areas for improvement.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions to production challenges.\nEnsure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.\nDevelop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures and work instructions.\nConduct training and provide guidance to production staff to ensure adherence to established processes.\nStay up to date with new technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to process engineering.\nCollaborate with other engineers, technicians, and operations staff to ensure successful process improvements.\nExecute the tasks following the working instructions.\nTake independent decisions on the process such as described in the tasks above.\nExecute the tasks in a safe way.\nTake actions on production activities so that maintenance can safely and swiftly execute their tasks.\nExecute the LOTO of the equipment with the maintenance technicians.\nKnow environmental protection standards and regulations by Aurubis and apply to them.\nKnow health and safety standards and regulations by Aurubis and apply to them.\nKnow health and safety standards and regulations given by law.\nOther duties may be assigned based on skill level and company needs.\nYour Profile\nBachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.\n5+ years of experience in process engineering, including experience with process design, optimization, and troubleshooting. Metallurgical process highly preferred.\nStrong understanding of process control principles, including experience with statistical process control.\nExperience with data analysis and statistical modeling tools, such as JMP or Minitab.\nExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to identify and implement solution to production challenges.\nExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written.\nAbility to work independently and in a team environment.\nExperience in the Metal Recycling industry is a plus.\nSpecial Skills\nMust exhibit a leader-coach mentality and act as a change agent with a team-oriented focus.\nMust be able to demonstrate being a key leader within cultural change.\nAbility to comprehend complex problems.\nEffectively communicate targets and goals to his/her team.\nAbility to receive and give constructive feedback.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nAbility to keep a cool head even in stressful situations.
