We take pride in our people and offer a competitive, comprehensive benefits package designed to support you both professionally and personally.\n\nPosition Summary and Purpose:\nCoordinate the flow of material into and through various manufacturing departments to maximize customer satisfaction by achieving on-time and superior quality shipments.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nESSENTIAL:\nPull parts for various production and assembly areas from storage towers\nAssist and support direct labor co-workers to assure efficient and timely processing of production requirements through production work centers\nExpedite required information or material by contacting Purchasing or other departments as required or directed by Supervisor\nOperate pallet jack when needed to move or accumulate material required for production\nInform supervision daily of problems that may delay on-time production scheduling\nReceive production orders\nLoad storage towers with incoming parts\nCycle count inventory\nMaintain a clean and orderly work area and perform all assignments in a safe manner and in accordance with established quality procedures\nEducation and Experience:\nREQUIRED:\nHigh school diploma or certificate equivalency\nPrior work experience in a production or industrial environment\nKnowledge, Skills, Abilities, Characteristics, etc.\nREQUIRED:\nClerical skills including PC experience\nBasic reading and writing proficiency\nAbility to climb and perform work on a ladder\nAbility to stand for long periods of time\nAbility to multitask\nCommitment to company Core Values\nValuable But Not Required:\nPrior warehouse, shipping or receiving experience\nForklift experience\nUPS and FedEx shipping knowledge\nAbility to read and understand assembly prints\nTools, Technology and Equipment Used:\nHandheld scanner and occasional use of power and hand tools, pallet jack, ladders, PC terminal.\n\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment:\nThe physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\nPhysical Demands:\nThis position is very active and requires frequent standing, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing of ladders. Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. frequently. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.\nWork Environment:\nThe noise level in the work environment can be loud occasionally.
