Associate Telecommunications Project Engineer - 1st Shift - Integration Lab - NAIC5

Job SummaryWork closely with the project engineer to evaluate project requirements and documentation to drive successful execution of customer expectations. Perform daily supportive tasks to execute and quality check all requirements to deliver world-class supply chain solutions.Essential FunctionsAssist in the execution of technology solutions per specifications and/or configuration instructions utilizing both industry and WWT best practices.Configure multiple vendor wireless & radio access network equipment (RAN) & telecom shelters.Apply electrical principles including AC/DC power and grounding.Assist in the creation and optimization of work instructions and further documentation.Assist with basic level troubleshooting for defective devices, logical issues, or systematic errors on a wide range of technologies.Provide input for installation and configuration instructions with various platforms of hardware and ensure accurate information capture.Ensure compliance with established codes, regulations, and standards.Understand how operating systems function per customer requirements.Install and test general telecommunication products where applicable.Help drive the project's progress from kick-off to final approval including production support and execution on customer requests.Configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot equipment to confirm system/hardware functionality across a wide range of technologies.Help in design, development, and model/prototype creation.Provide and validate initial label template requirements per customer specifications or WWT best practices.Ensure quality records are maintained for both internal and external customers to validate requirements and equipment audits.Understand installation and configuration instructions with various platforms of hardware and ensure accurate information capture.Provide input for the continual improvement of customer production solutions.EducationAssociate's degree is preferred.A combination of education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.Work ExperienceA minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in a related field is required.Experience working independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesResolve issues by diagnosing problems, determining possible resolutions, and implementing effective solutions.Demonstrate discipline in planning, organizing, and managing resources and activities to achieve specified outcomes within defined timeframes and standards.Identify documentation needs and develop technical reference documentation in accordance with standards and styles.Communicate with clarity and precision, presenting complex information in a concise format that is audience appropriate.Serve in a "player-coach" role by managing, reviewing, and conducting day-to-day work in a specific technical domain area; apply domain knowledge to develop solutions to problems.Leverage technical knowledge of products to meet customer needs and understand market segments as well as market data trends.Demonstrate concern for accuracy and thoroughness so that sufficiently detailed information is logged correctly.Take instruction and execute directives independently.Read engineering drawings (network design documents, rack elevations).Know a broad range of network infrastructure cable types and best practices.Conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities and the ability to prioritize in a high-pressure environment.Possess strong written and oral communication skills.Level of AutonomyWork is accomplished without considerable direction.Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to obtain results.Exercise significant latitude in determining objectives of assignment.Takes calculated risks with consultation from the expert.Salary range: $22.31 to $27.88 per hour (actual salary based on shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure, and business needs; variable incentive compensation such as bonuses or commissions may be applicable).BenefitsHealth and Wellbeing: Health, Dental, and Vision Care, Onsite Health Centers, Employee Assistance Program, Wellness program.Financial Benefits: Competitive pay, Profit Sharing, 401(k) Plan with Company Matching, Life and Disability Insurance, Tuition Reimbursement.Paid Time Off: PTO & Holidays, Parental Leave, Sick Leave, Military Leave, Bereavement.Additional Perks: Nursing Mothers Benefits, Voluntary Legal, Pet Insurance, Employee Discount Program.Equal Opportunity EmployerWWT is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
