This position will be based at the Laredo, TX location.Key Responsibilities:Input and update shipment information in internal systems, including merchandise received, shipper, consignee, number of pieces, and weightCreate and maintain internal reference numbers for all inbound freightReview and process instructions received via email from shippers and consignees related to shipments stored in the warehouseEnsure all data entered is accurate, complete, and aligned with supporting documentationCommunicate with warehouse staff to confirm receipt, processing, and status of cargoTrack and update shipment records once warehouse work has been completedReceive, process, and return documentation once freight handling activities are finalizedMaintain organized digital and/or physical records of shipment transactionsSupport inventory accuracy by ensuring timely and precise data entry updatesIdentify discrepancies and escalate issues to the appropriate team membersPerform other duties as assignedSkills / Requirements:Strong attention to detail and data accuracyProficient in data entry and computer systems (MS Office, warehouse management systems preferred)Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environmentGood communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to follow instructions and respond to email requests promptlyBasic understanding of warehouse or logistics operations preferredStrong organizational and time management skillsPay Rate: $14.75/hr. in accordance with the CBABenefits (All Non-Union Employees):Compensation: Competitive base salary plus role dependent performance-based incentives.401(k) Match: $1-for-$1 match up to 4% quarterly + 2% annual base contribution.Stock Purchase Plan: Ability to purchase Deutsche Post AG shares at a discounted rate.Medical: Comprehensive plans covering preventive care, inpatient/outpatient services, and prescriptions.Vision: Optional coverage for exams, frames, and contacts.Dental: Optional coverage for preventive, basic, and major services.Paid Time Off: 7 major holidays, 8 floating holidays, and accrued vacation/sick days.Why Join DHL Global Forwarding?At DHL Global Forwarding, we invest in our employees' growth, providing training, guidance, and career advancement opportunities.
