Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote learning and development
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for children to learn and play
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through interactive activities
- Manage classroom behavior and encourage positive interactions among students
- Collaborate with parents to ensure each child's individual needs are met
- Assess student progress and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
Experience
Required Skills:
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Proficiency in literacy education to support language development in young learners
- Knowledge of child welfare principles to ensure the well-being of each child
- Experience working with children in a preschool or similar setting
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Proficiency in lesson planning tailored to early childhood education
- Familiarity with early intervention strategies for developmental support
- Ability in behavior management techniques for a positive classroom environment
- Skill in curriculum development to create engaging learning experiences
- Experience in toddler care for children aged 2 to 5 years old
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
