Legal Assistant/Paralegal

Idaho Employment Lawyers is looking for a skilled legal assistant/paralegal to join our team. The successful candidate will be able to assist in all phases of the litigation process. Additionally, this role will provide comprehensive support to IEL attorneys by combining counseling and administrative assistance. Please send a letter of interest and resume to contact@idemploymentlawyers.com.ResponsibilitiesDraft and prepare pleadings for filingMaintain pleadings and discovery indexesOrganize exhibits, documents, briefs and appendicesHandle onboarding of new clients, including screening calls, conducting conflicts, and working through engagement letter and billing detailsAid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requestsCommunicate with clients and expert witnesses related to timelines, pleadings, and discoveryGather relevant information from a variety of sourcesConduct document reviewOrganize and Bates-stamp documents for production in response to discovery requestsReview, proof, and edit written work with a high attention to detailRedact information from documentsAssist in deposition and trial preparation by preparing binders, indexing discovery, and preparing exhibitsPrepare witness preparation bindersMaintain case calendar and schedule of upcoming deadlinesSkillsProven working experience as a litigation paralegal, or paralegal-specific training preferredApplicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, etc.Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong writing and communication skillsAttention to detailTeam-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys, staff, and clientsAdaptable and willing to learn, with the ability to take on new tasks and adjust to changing prioritiesExtensive computer skills, including experience with file management software, ECF/iCourt, Pacer, Adobe, and Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive)Job Type: Full-time/ Non-Exempt (overtime eligible)Pay and Benefits:Competitive Hourly Rate DOE401(k)Health insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceHealth savings accountPaid time offSchedule and Location:Typically 8-hour shifts, Monday to FridaySome overtime and/or weekend hours will likely be required based on deadlinesRequired to be on-site in Boise OfficeEducation and Experience:Minimum Education: Associate DegreeParalegal Certification (Preferred)2+ years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal (Preferred)TravelLocal travel may occasionally be required for this position.EEOC Policy/Anti-Harassment &Anti-Discrimination PolicyIdaho Employment Lawyers is an equal opportunity employer.
