As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.\r\nJob responsibilities\r\nExecutes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems\r\nDevelops secure, high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others\r\nLeads triage and resolution of adhoc, client-impacting issues\r\nIdentifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems\r\nLeads evaluation sessions with external and internal teams to drive outcome-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture\r\nOwn the delivery of features across the development lifecycle both independently and with the team, including design, implementation, testing, and support\r\nLeads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies\r\nAdds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect\r\nRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills\r\nFormal training or certification on Software Engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience\r\nHands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability\r\nProficient in coding in Core Java / Design Patterns, Java 8 +, Multi-threading, Exception Handling, Defensive Programming, Microservices, Java Design Patterns\r\nExperience with message bus technologies such as Kafka or IBM MQ\r\nExperience with database technologies (e.g. Cassandra, Oracle, Hive)\r\nExperience with cloud native applications development (e.g. AWS, GCP, private cloud, etc.)\r\nHands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability\r\nExperience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages\r\nExperience across the whole Software Development Life Cycle\r\nExposure to agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security\r\nEmerging knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)\r\nPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills\r\nCloud Certifications\r\nExperience mentoring junior talent\r\nABOUT US\r\nJPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world’s most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
