Expect to spend most of your time developing modern JavaScript single page applications powered by PHP middleware APIs. You will work in an environment where productivity is fostered. You will spend very little time in meetings, and you won’t be distracted by processes that get in the way of high-quality results.\nHave you worked with modern PHP OOP frameworks such as Laravel of Symfony? Are you well versed in using CSS and UX to make beautiful and streamlined designs? Have you built successful end to end testing solutions? However, it is required that you are very comfortable with JavaScript.\nJob Responsibilities:\nProduce well designed, testable, efficient code using software development best practices.\nIntegrate with and utilize data from backend services and databases.\nBuild web applications using PHP on the backend and JavaScript (ES7+), HTML5, and CSS3 on the frontend.\nContribute to new product ideation and implementation as well as to feature development of existing products.\nCollaborate with teammates by actively participating in code reviews, contributing to technical documentation, and offering constructive design feedback.\nBecome a subject matter expert on DomainTools’ customer facing products and services.\n\nRequirements\n\nWork experience: 3+ years of modern web application development.\nExperience with modern PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony).\nSolid knowledge of the following:\nObject oriented PHP 7+ programming\nJavaScript (ES7+)\nTypeScript\nHTML5 and CSS3\nDeep understanding of React 18+ and Redux.\nExperience with unit and integration testing (PHPUnit, Jest).\nDemonstrable experience building and consuming APIs.\nProficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.\nExperience with container technologies, particularly Docker.\n\nPluses:\nFamiliarity with configuring Babel, Webpack, and ESLint.\nExperience with orchestration platforms, particularly Kubernetes.\nExperience with user acceptance/E2E testing (TestCafe, Playwright).\nFamiliarity interacting with relational databases (MySQL).\nExperience with UX design and related concepts.\nExperience using agile principles and methodologies.\nBachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.\n\nBenefits\n\nDomainTools is the global leader for Internet intelligence and the first place security practitioners go when they need to know.
