This is a 12 month contract opportunity.This role is responsible for expanding and optimizing our client's data architecture, as well as optimizing data flow and collection for cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is an experienced data pipeline builder and data wrangler who will support software developers, database architects, and data scientists on key data initiatives, ensuring an optimal data delivery architecture is consistent throughout ongoing projects.Responsibilities:Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business requirementsPerform complex data analysis and investigation for customer requests to explain results and to make appropriate recommendationsBuild processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload managementAnalyze business objectives and develop data solutions to meet customer needsImprove and customize current data solutions to meet business functional and non-functional requirementsResearch new and existing data sources to contribute to new development, improve data management processes, and make recommendations for data quality initiativesPerform periodic data quality reviews for internal and external dataWork with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systemsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering OR an Associate's degree in a related field with two (2) years of experienceStrong knowledge of SQL, including writing and troubleshooting queries for data miningStrong understanding of data modeling conceptsExperience with ETL processes to aid in verification and testing of dataA successful history of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large disconnected datasetsDemonstrated ability to analyze and profile data by leveraging advanced data modeling, source system databases, or data mining techniquesExperience with data analysis, quality, and profiling tools such as Rapid SQL, AQT, Information Analyzer, and InformaticsAbility to manage a varied workload of projects with multiple prioritiesStrong analytical, interpersonal, and time management skillsPay range: $472.64 - $499.62 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!Ranked a Top Staffing Firm in the U.S. by Staffing Industry Analysts for six consecutive years, Genesis10 puts thousands of consultants and employees to work across the United States every year in contract, contract-for-hire, and permanent placement roles.
