Is accountable for oversight of the administrative, fiscal, and daily operations to ensure all clinical and technical activities meet regulatory compliance standards.\nJob Description:\nKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1. Effectively manages team members in a manner consistent with ThedaCare policies and values. Ensures the recruitment and retention of competent team members to meet the needs of the business operations of the department. 2. Is accountable for daily activities and work processes that result in quality outcomes. 3. Oversees and ensures accuracy of time and attendance and payroll practices. 4. Ensures optimal sterile processing performance through quality controls established within the department and set forth by national accrediting bodies. 5. Is responsible for the ongoing maintenance of instruments and instrument sets including maintaining the sterilizer log parameters, sterilizer testing, and maintaining the equipment tray procedure books. 6. Oversees and ensures the decontamination, reassembly, and sterilization of instruments and instrument trays to meet regulatory standards. 7. In collaboration with the infection prevention department, ensures training, auditing, and compliance with the high level disinfection practices as established by The Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI). 8. Works closely with the biomedical department to manage the instrument and equipment repair process. 9. Works closely with the materials and supply chain department for inventory management. 10.
