About the Opportunity:The Business Analyst is responsible for accurately interpreting and managing regulatory and functional requirements that impact coverage, reimbursement, and system processes. This role ensures alignment between regulatory mandates and health plan developed requirements, facilitating communication and coordination with various stakeholders to support system development and compliance. The position contributes to maintaining regulatory adherence and operational effectiveness by providing timely analysis and resolution of requirement interpretations.3. Responsibilities:• Develop and maintain requirement documents related to coverage, reimbursement, and system changes.• Monitor regulatory sources to ensure alignment with updates.• Lead development and management of requirement review processes and committee coordination.• Conduct root cause analysis to support problem management related to state requirements.• Communicate requirement interpretations and changes to health plans, product teams, and corporate functions.• Support resolution of requirement interpretation inconsistencies and complaints.• Provide reporting to leadership on potential impacts of requirement changes.• Collaborate with operations leadership and Plan Support to review compliance issues for benefit planning.4. Requirements:• Minimum 2 years of experience in managed care, health insurance, or related field.• Knowledge of policy and government legislative review.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• Proficiency with Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and across time zones.• Effective communication skills for diverse organizational levels.Preferred:• Project implementation experience.• Knowledge of federal regulatory policies including CMS and ACA.• Medical Coding certification.5.
