We offer on the job training to anyone who is looking to develop their skill set and highly encourage employees to reach outside their comfort zone.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES\nPerform dimensional, visual, and functional inspection of parts, components, assemblies, and raw materials; documenting and communicating inspection results.\nPrepare First Article & In Process Inspection reports by utilizing precision handheld measurement equipment and/or gauges.\nReview acceptance criteria defined by customer documents to ensure appropriate inspection methods and to identify and document any drawing or specification errors.\nProvide feedback to the Quality Control Manager to define and deliver responses to customer requests and inquiries related to product quality.\nAssist Quality Control Manager in defining and executing internal audits to ensure compliance as well as developing and publishing procedures and work instructions relating to internal processes and practices.\nPerforms other duties as assigned by the Quality Control Manager.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nMinimum 1 year of experience serving as a quality control inspector or equivalent relevant work experience.\nCalypso software experience\nAbility to run CMM with basic programming experience\nAbility to exercise good judgment and make decisions independently.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to demonstrate attention to detail in completing assignments and in communicating to internal and external customers.\nDemonstrated knowledge of statistics, geometry, fractions, percentages, and ratios.\nMust be methodical, thorough, and a team player.\nProficient using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).\nWHAT WE OFFER\nMachine Sciences takes pride in creating a culture for our employees that supports and fosters growth, offers exciting challenges and promotes talent.
