Precision Roll Grinders is looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Machine Shop Apprentices. This entry-level role offers paid, hands-on training in our world-class shop environment. Apprentices will learn the fundamentals of mechanical repair, precision machining, and grinding, with opportunities to grow into a Grinder Operator, Mechanic, or Manual Machinist—or cross-train in all three.\nWhat You’ll Do\n· Learn to disassemble, repair, and reassemble industrial equipment and components.\n· Gain hands-on experience working with a wide variety of tools and equipment commonly found in a machine shop.\n· Assist with set-up, operation, and inspection of shop equipment.\n· Support routine maintenance and contribute to a clean, safe, and efficient shop.\n· Work alongside skilled tradespeople, gradually taking on more independent responsibilities.\nWhat We’re Looking For\n· High school diploma or equivalent.\n· Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in hands-on shop work.\n· Ability to lift up to 50–60 lbs. and work on your feet throughout the shift.\n· Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends.\n· Team player with good communication skills.\n· Previous experience with hand or power tools is a plus, but not required.\nWhat We Offer\n· Paid on-the-job training with clear career progression.\n· Skill-based pay increases every 90 days as you advance.\n· Opportunities to specialize as a Grinder Operator, Mechanic, or Machinist.\n· Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, retirement plan, etc.).\n· Stable, long-term career with a growing company.\nStart your career in the trades with a company that values skill, safety, and growth.
