This role will lead architecture decisions, build scalable distributed systems, mentor engineers, and establish engineering best practices.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the design and development of cloud-native Java applications on AWS.\nBuild scalable microservices using Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot.\nDesign RESTful APIs and event-driven services.\nArchitect highly available, fault-tolerant distributed systems.\nDevelop asynchronous messaging solutions using Kafka or similar technologies.\nDesign cloud infrastructure using AWS-managed services.\nImplement Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and deployment automation.\nLead architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and code reviews.\nImprove observability through logging, metrics, monitoring, and distributed tracing.\nTroubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance.\nCollaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and engineering teams.\nMentor engineers and establish development standards.\nRequired Qualifications\n10+ years of software engineering experience.\nStrong experience developing enterprise-scale backend applications.\nTechnical leadership or team lead experience preferred.\nDegree not required.\nRequired Technical Skills\nAdvanced Java and/or Kotlin\nAWS cloud architecture\nSpring Boot\nMicroservices and distributed systems\nREST APIs, OpenAPI, and Swagger\nSQL and relational databases\nDynamoDB, MongoDB, or Cassandra\nKafka and event-driven architecture\nCI/CD pipelines and deployment automation\nCloud-native application development\nLogging, metrics, tracing, and monitoring\nProduction support and performance tuning\nPreferred Experience\nHighly available distributed system design\nInfrastructure as Code\nCloud application modernization\nTechnical architecture and solution design\nAgile/Scrum development environments\nTypical Work Breakdown\n45–55% hands-on Java/AWS development\n15–20% production support and troubleshooting\n15–20% code reviews and technical design\n5–10% cross-team collaboration\n5–10% Agile ceremonies and sprint activities\nTop Skills\nAWS Cloud Architecture\nJava and Spring Boot\nMicroservices and Distributed Systems\nReady to make an impact?
