Brasserie Liberté is a vibrant brasserie in the heart of Georgetown looking to hire a sous chef to join our team immediately. We are seeking passionate, hardworking, culinary-focused professionals to join our team. We serve stellar brasserie fare and beverages in a contemporary setting. Required Qualifications: Passion for food Ability to work a diverse schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays High level of professionalism 4+ years of cooking experience Experience in high volume dining Responsibilities & Duties: Prepare every component of each dish on our menu according to specified recipe guides Ensure that the kitchen, all food prep areas, and all food storage areas meet restaurant's cleanliness standards. Work with a team of cooks to complete prep work Monitor product freshness and rotate out old products. Ensure Kitchen and all cooking equipment is cleaned after service. Must demonstrate leadership skills, be a team-player and work well with others Complete all other reasonable requests made by the Culinary Leadership team or General Manager Fill in for executive chef in planning and food prep when necessary Handle ordering Comply with and enforce sanitation guidelines We are seeking serious- minded applicants be a part of a high volume restaurant team that is committed to being the best dining experience in Georgetown.
