Solid Power is a dynamic, fast‐paced, collaborative and innovative team environment. The preferred candidate will have hands‐on experience in shipping and receiving dock management, operation of Kanban inventory systems, and general warehouse management. Experience with hazmat and heavy material handling equipment is also preferred. This position is critical in assuring accurate and efficient material flow through the facility, and in coordinating with purchasing to assure appropriate inventory supply and replenishment. This role will also be critical in the administration functions of document control and vendor performance tracking.\nJob Duties:\nReceiving\nPhysically assist carriers with package offload for LTL or parcel shipments.\nInspect inbound shipments for damage and verify part numbers and quantity per the packing slip and purchase order.\nAssure all required vendor documentation is present with the shipment.\nTimely and accurate receipt and put away of POs in ERP system, including saving all relevant shipment documents.\nIdentify items that require quality inspection and label properly.\nUtilization of Kanban system for items received\nIdentify hazardous materials that require special storage, place into correct stocking locations immediately upon receipt\nCorrect physical stocking of materials and/or delivery to Purchase Requisitioner.\nMaintain a clean and organized receiving dock.\nOversee Uniform Deliveries & pickup.\nWeekly paper restock for office supplies areas\nOversee that Dock Rules are enforced daily.\nInventory\nMonitor stock pull locations in R&D, production dry room, and assembly area and replenish material as needed.\nCorrectly utilize Kanban system when items are pulled\nPull Raw Materials for Production\nPallet breakdown and disposal\nVMI assistance\nShipping\nPackage outbound LTL or parcel shipments for safe transport.\nAbility to comply with Dangerous Goods shipping regulations.\nSchedule carriers for interdepartmental and outbound shipments\nPhysically assisting carriers with LTL or parcel shipment loading.\nDaily forklift inspections on all units.\nPlacing Purchase Requisitions as needed, correctly utilizing Kanban system\nSaving all shipping paperwork for Trade Compliance.\nQualifications/Requirements:\nHighschool diploma or equivalent and/or 5+ years of experience in a material handling or logistics function.\nExperience in evaluating and planning inventory and storage of materials in support of a manufacturing organization.\nAbility to read and understand Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures\nFamiliarity with a variety of logistics providers and their platforms\nBasic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook and Excel\nHazmat or other regulated shipping experience is a plus\nIATA/49-CFR certification is a plus\nRapid learner and self-motivated who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative start-up environment\nExcellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail\nAbility to work on-site at the Louisville, Colorado facility\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to lift 50lbs\nProlonged periods of sitting at a desk\nAbility to stand for prolonged periods of time\nAbility to learn and perform precise operation of pallet jacks and forklifts\nAbility to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as necessary including, but not limited to eye protection, hair net, gloves, face mask, coveralls, half or full-face respirator or PAPR.\nHourly Range: $24.00 - $30.00/hour\nBenefits: Solid Power offers a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical/dental/vision insurance, employer paid Life/AD&D/STD/LTD insurance, 401k with company match, 8 paid holidays, generous PTO, up to six (6) weeks paid FMLA leave, cell phone reimbursement and eligibility to participate in our bonus and equity plans.\nThis position will be posted for a minimum of 7 days and will remain open until filled or adjusted based on the volume of applicants.\nAll offers of employment at Solid Power are contingent upon clear results of a thorough background check.\nPlease no soliciting from staffing agencies.
