The sensor technician performs tasks and functions related to the repair of temperature sensors. The sensor technician is an entry level small parts assembler position. 1st Shift PositionEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Work under a microscope to assemble small parts.Adheres to company procedures and policies regarding team members and quality issues.Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly manner.Use multimeters and voltage test equipmentBasic use of a tape measure and hand toolsOther duties as assignedEducation:High School Diploma or GED preferredWork Experience:Previous experience in a manufacturing assembly environment working with small parts preferredMust have good dexterity and precision when required to work with extremely small and fragile items1 year of brazing or soldering experience preferredAbility to work on multiple projects throughout a daySpecialized Knowledge or Abilities:Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate orally and in writing.Basic knowledge of the use of a hand tools and small drillsAbility to independently work on multiple projects throughout a day.Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to sit for long periods of time, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.Work Environment:Controlled temperature environment.DOT-FAA Safety Sensitive Position.
