A successful candidate should have experience in developing Joint Training Plans, and identifying and updating training objectives from approved plans in coordination with the respective customers and participants, identifying existing and/or emerging exercise and advance training opportunities in which training objectives may be fulfilled, matching training objectives with identified exercise/advanced training opportunities, and compiling all data into a presentation for senior leadership review and approval. This position will be supporting the Space Superiority Business Division of the Space Superiority and Geospatial Sector within the Space and Airborne Systems Segment.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDuties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nPrepare, Plan, and Integrate support into customer planning, exercises, training, and operations activities\nIntegrate activities into the joint planning cycle supporting customer needs.\nProvide subject matter expertise to outside organizations in support of operations and exercise planning coordination and deconfliction.\nSupport development, deployment and execution of plans and operations orders.\nPrepare various reports, presentations and documentation as needed.\nSupport development and coordination of space operations guidance and intent.\nPlan, organize and direct space operations planning programs.\nWorks under minimal supervision to set objectives for work environment.\nLeverage operations center communications contracts to coordinate operational processes, best practices, doctrine, and procedures.\nWork will be primarily conducted at in Springfield, VA at the customer site, with potential for travel within the United States and potentially overseas to support program execution\nPreferred Qualifications:\nGraduate from Joint Professional Military Education program.\n2+ years’ experience in a General Officer/Flag Officer\nG/J/N-5 (Plans Directorate).\nDoD/NRO systems liaison / field representative.\nOrbital mechanics program\nEducation/Experience:\nBachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
