JOB SUMMARY:The Community Liaison (CML) is responsible for the assigned region and/or branch(es) for order management. The CML is a function locally performed in the office or commuting to physician sites, as needed. Duties require collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure an efficient process is met to secure physician signatures on orders for care. In addition, the CML is responsible for completing the order management process for signed orders. The CML will provide necessary assistance to the team, including obtaining any required documentation to be provided by external stakeholders to ensure an order is complete.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Complete the orders management process for physician orders. This includes daily processing of tasks that result in generation of orders needing to be sent or re-sent to the physician for signature, along with processing signed orders received into our EMR and facilitating attachment based on order type.Coordinate with physician offices to identify changes in preferred delivery method and/or ways the process can be streamlined with physician office agreement.Must be in office to perform the job, including ability to facilitate preparation of orders, when required, for hand delivery and pick up orders from local physician offices and facilities.Track outstanding orders and complete follow-up tasks per the established process, including escalation as needed, meeting established service line agreements (SLAs). Assist internal stakeholders with obtaining non-order documentation from external stakeholders, as deemed necessary.Communicate with physician offices regarding CMS regulations and compliance requirements to ensure proper signatures are received.
