Establish a defined, repeatable process for collecting and maintaining data assets and mapping datasets.\nProvide the full range of support required for successful data inventory. This includes, but is not limited to the following:\nMaintain and update the current data inventory.\nMaintain and update the current data inventory dashboard.\nLead stakeholder engagement to identify new CBP datasets/data assets as well as updates to existing datasets and/or data assets.\nInvestigate, analyze and populate a data inventory, focused on descriptive data elements across CBP for all identified datasets and/or data assets.\nDocument metadata associated with data elements in the data inventory.\nAnalyze data inventory results to identify duplicative data and metadata inconsistencies.\nPerform data enrichment and normalization activities:\nStandardizing data formats and applying consistent naming conventions.\nRemoving duplicates and handling missing or incomplete data.\nEnhancing data quality by cross-referencing and validating against trusted sources.\nApplying data transformation rules or algorithms to derive additional insights or attributes.\nEnable Zero Trust: Solicit and obtain all necessary data tagging attributes and classification to support zero trust operations. Establish a roadmap and determine the technology needed to gather data privilege settings to enable zero trust reporting and analytics.\n\nMinimum Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree in either Electrical Engineering and/or an MBA is preferred.\nExperience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in the IT field, demonstrating senior technical ability and leadership with Federal Clients in the fields of Relational Database Administration (RDBMS), including on-prem and cloud experience.\nTechnical Skills: Strong background in database administration, architecture, and optimizing processes, procedures, and workflows\nEnterprise Architecture (EA)\nSolution Architecture\nCloud Migration\nAgile Methodologies\nKnowledge Management Systems\nRequirements Analysis\nAzure, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker\nJavaScript, Vue.js, Node.js, REST\nMongoDB, AWS DocumentDB, ArangoDB\nANSI X12, EDIFACT, CATAIR, CAMIR\n.NET\nDB2, Oracle, MS SQL Server, SSDS and SSRS\nCommunication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
