In this role you will write clean, efficient code, help evolve our platforms, and collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features on schedule.\r\nThe Role\r\nFull-stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using modern web technologies, with a primary focus on TypeScript (Node.js and front-end frameworks such as React or similar).\r\nData Modeling & Persistence: Create and evolve relational and NoSQL data models that support new functionality and improve existing features.\r\nFeature Delivery: Own individual features from specification through implementation, testing, deployment, and post-release monitoring.\r\nCode Quality: Participate in peer code reviews, write unit/integration tests, and follow best practices to ensure maintainable, high-quality code.\r\nTechnical Documentation: Produce clear design specs, API documentation, and other artifacts that aid knowledge sharing across the team.\r\nCollaboration: Work with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.\r\nAgile Participation: Contribute to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and estimation sessions as an active member of the development team.\r\nBasic Qualifications\r\nAbility to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export controls\r\n5–8 years of experience in full-stack development\r\nFluency in TypeScript with solid experience in Node.js and modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, etc.)\r\nStrong knowledge of relational and NoSQL data modeling\r\nDemonstrated ability to design and build scalable, maintainable application components\r\nProven ability to write clear, concise design and technical documentation\r\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable engaging with non-technical stakeholders\r\nExperience delivering features end-to-end, including planning, coding, testing, and deployment\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nFamiliarity with manufacturing, aerospace, or defense domains.\r\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code-quality tooling.\r\nExperience mentoring junior developers or providing peer guidance.\r\nWork Environment\r\nThis position is on-site 4x a week at our Torrance, CA headquarters.\r\nCompensation\r\nAt Divergent, our pay range is based on the level of the job.
