This is an opportunity to join a highly collaborative engineering group where you'll build production software that brings machine learning models, Generative AI, and intelligent automation into the hands of end users.This role is ideal for a strong Full-Stack Software Engineer who has recently incorporated AI into their work. You don't need to be a machine learning researcher, but you should have practical experience integrating LLMs, Generative AI, RAG pipelines, or AI-powered features into production applications.You'll work across the entire stack, building scalable backend services, modern web applications, cloud-native infrastructure, and AI-enabled products alongside software engineers, data engineers, data scientists, and product teams.What You'll Be DoingDesign and develop enterprise-grade full-stack applications using Java, Python, and modern frontend frameworks.Build scalable backend APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications deployed in Azure.Integrate AI capabilities including LLMs, RAG pipelines, AI agents, and Generative AI into production software.Connect applications to Databricks, data pipelines, and machine learning services.Develop intuitive user experiences using React and modern frontend technologies.Build secure, scalable, and maintainable software following engineering best practices.Collaborate closely with engineering, product, AI, and business teams throughout the development lifecycle.Leverage modern AI coding tools to accelerate software delivery while maintaining high engineering quality.What We're Looking For8+ years of professional software engineering experience.Strong full-stack development experience with both backend and frontend technologies.Strong Java experience with Python exposure.Experience building modern web applications using React or Next.js.Experience developing cloud-native applications in Azure.Experience integrating Databricks or large-scale data platforms into production applications.Practical experience applying Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, or AI-powered features within software products.Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and distributed application architecture.Experience working in agile, collaborative engineering environments.Startup or small-to-mid-sized company experience is highly valued.Additional InformationLocation: Houston or Austin, TX (Remote considered within 50 miles)Travel: Approximately 4 days per month in officeCompensation: Up to $180K Base + 15% BonusWork Authorization: U.S. work authorization required.
