🚀 Come intern at a high growth AI startup led by a multiple time exited founder 🚀This is a full-time summer internship working as Chief of Staff to the founder. You will be reporting to Jordan Calderon, a 3x founder who bootstrapped and sold three companies by age 27, the last one a top-100 performance marketing agency in the U.S. He is now building Agent X, an AI company working at the front edge of agentic AI.As Chief of Staff Intern, you are the founder's right hand. You will sit at the center of the business and see how all of it fits together, from outbound and sales to operations to the AI agents we are building. You will be in the room when real decisions get made, you will help push the priorities forward, and you will get mentored directly every day. By the end of the summer you will understand how a company actually gets built from the ground up. If you are hungry, resourceful, and want to learn from another young top performer, this one is for you.Key ResponsibilitiesRight Hand to the Founder: Be the founder's force multiplier. You will help drive the priorities across the business, chase down the loose ends, and make sure the things that matter actually get done. Expect to touch nearly every part of the company.Outbound & Growth: Co-run our LinkedIn outbound. You will build and manage the sequences, keep an eye on booked-meeting rates, and keep sharpening the messaging to hit our targets. Sales Collateral & Positioning: Build the materials that tell our story, like decks, one-pagers, and other sales assets, and help us position the business the right way in the market.Operations & Systems: Help set up, optimize, and tighten the systems that keep the business running. That covers onboarding flows, fulfillment, project management, and the software behind all of it.AI Agent Development: Build AI agents inside our own agent-building software, then test them, give feedback, and coordinate with the dev team to improve them. You would be working hands-on at the forefront of agentic AI.Strategic Sounding Board: Talk through opportunities, tradeoffs, and ideas with the founder often. We want your judgment and your thinking here, not only your execution.Continual Learning: Keep up with where AI, outbound, and go-to-market are heading, and bring what you find back to the team.QualificationsCurrently a student or recent grad, or just someone who learns fast and wants the reps. No specific major required.Hungry and takes ownership. You chase things down without being told twice.Organized, and good at keeping a lot of moving pieces straight at once. That is most of the job for a chief of staff.High energy, and fine working in ambiguity. This is early-stage, so plans change often.Curious about AI and where it is going.A strong writer. Much of this role is outbound, positioning, and keeping people on the same page.Comfortable with common software tools, and quick to pick up new ones.Works well on your own and as part of a small team.Compensation & HoursClass credit or performance based compFull-time for the summer.In-person preferred (Los Angeles).About Agent XAgent X builds AI agents that handle real work inside a business around the clock. Rather than chatbots that just answer questions, these are autonomous agents that operate inside the tools a company already uses, like email, CRM, and Slack, and carry out entire workflows on their own from start to finish.In practice, the agents do things like respond to incoming leads within seconds, generate reports overnight, reconcile invoices, research prospects, and handle the recurring tasks that normally take up a team's time. The work runs continuously without manual oversight.Agent X is a fully done-for-you service. The company identifies which work is worth automating, builds custom agents for it, deploys them into a business's existing tools, and maintains and improves them over time.
