{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"ca0cfd55e021efa00a5017db","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/ca0cfd55e021efa00a5017db","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/ca0cfd55e021efa00a5017db","title":"Midstream Operations Engineer","description":"JOB DESCRIPTION\nThis position is responsible for evaluating existing and future oil, SWD and plant processes and pipeline hydraulics, optimizing systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability and develop best practices within the transportation and production processes.\nJOB BENEFITS\nCompensation includes industry competitive salary commensurate with experience, performance incentives, plus medical and dental benefits, 401(k), etc. Details are available upon application.\nJOB REQUIREMENTS\nResponsibilities\nEnsure successful execution of oil, gas, and water projects including facilities, pipelines, and plant modifications.\nStay abreast and understand the Regulatory Process in Texas and New Mexico.\nResponsible for pipeline design (oil/gas/water) for sizes between 4” – 20” including stress calculations and testing procedures.\nPrepare and/or review deliverables such as PFDs, P&IDs, Line Lists, datasheets, design calculations, and apply professional engineering stamp as required.\nWork with multiple vendors to maintain project timeline and budget within AFE.\nWork with Land Management and field personnel to select pipeline routes as required.\nWork with field personnel to trouble-shoot and optimize operations and plan system maintenance.\nEducation and Experience\nMust have recent gas processing experience with small to mid-sized cryogenic processing plant projects and thorough knowledge of pipeline design and hydraulics or other relevant Midstream experience.\nMinimum of 5 years’ experience, 10 years’ experience preferred.\nBachelor and/or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferred.\nProcess experience to include: compression & dehydration, refrigeration & turbo-expander liquids recovery, sour gas treating-amine, acid gas injection, and salt-water disposal.\nThorough understanding of corrosion mitigation on steel pipelines, including coatings and cathodic protection.\nExperience in project planning & program management.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work with a multi-disciplinary team.\nExperience executing several small to medium sized projects running concurrently.\nAbility to handle stress and work well in a demanding and fast-paced environment.\nDemonstrated ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
