This role sits at the intersection of Finance, Data, and Systems, ensuring that financial metrics are accurate, scalable, and directly usable for decision-making.The role will build and maintain a finance data layer that acts as the single source of truth and powers AI-driven insights and dashboards, and dynamically produce reports that drive business decisions.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nFinancial Data Integrity:\n\nEnsure accuracy and consistency of financial data across:\n- ERP (e.g., NetSuite),\n- operational systems,\n- data warehouse / BI tools.\nReconcile partner reported revenue across SSPs, DSPs, and exchanges with internal reporting and analytics.\nIdentify and resolve discrepancies between systems (e.g., revenue, cost, payments).\nEstablish repeatable reconciliation frameworks (not ad hoc fixes).\n\nData Pipeline & Systems Ownership:\n\nPartner with Data Engineering to:\n- define financial data requirements,\n- validate pipelines and transformations,\n- ensure correct data mapping and lineage.\nMaintain and improve the financial system of record.\nTranslate accounting logic into data models and rules.\n\nMetrics & Data Modeling:\n\nDefine and maintain key financial metrics (revenue, gross profit, margins, etc.).\nEnsure alignment between:\n- dashboards,\n- internal reporting,\n- financial statements;\n Build datasets that support:\n- executive reporting,\n- product and operational analysis.\nBuild dynamic, forecasting models that pull from historical data, update with new actuals, and support flexible scenario and assumption inputs.\n\nClose & Reporting Support:\n\nSupport month-end close through:\n- data validation,\nreconciliation automation.\nReduce reliance on manual journal entries by improving upstream data quality.\n\nControls & Audit Readiness:\n\nImplement data-level controls to prevent errors at the source.\nEnsure financial data is:\n- auditable,\n- traceable from source to reporting.\nSupport audits with clear data documentation.\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration\n\nWork closely with:\n- Accounting,\n- FP&A,\n- Data Engineering,\n- Product / Operations.\nAct as a translator between finance requirements and technical implementation.\n\nQualifications\n\nRequired:\n\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Data, or related field.\n2–5+ years experience in:\n- financial data analysis,\n- business intelligence,\n- or FP&A with strong data exposure.\nStrong SQL skills.\nAdvanced Excel.\nFamiliarity with ERP systems (NetSuite).\nExperience working with large datasets and high-volume environments (FinTech, Banking, Marketplaces, AdTech, or similar).\nPython -
