The Housing Director will be responsible for creating and maintaining a safe and sober community outside of Center hours. We're looking for an individual, preferably with managerial experience in the medical field, recovery and/or addiction, but not required, to fill our role of Housing Director.

SSVF is a short-term crisis intervention program, with services to include case management, housing and financial counseling, and assistance in obtaining benefits and services. VOALA provides a variety of social services to Los Angeles area communities such as Head Start programs, Upward Bound college prep programs, veterans’ services, homeless shelters, low-income housing program as well as drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

SSVF (Supportive Services for Veteran Families) promotes housing stability to homeless or at-risk-of-becoming homeless Veterans and their families. SSVF The VOALA health care navigator will act as a liaison between VOALA and the VA or community medical clinic and works with a population of Veterans with complex needs who require assistance accessing health care services or adhering to health care plans.

Services are collaborative and recovery-oriented, and treatment includes: psychiatric assessment, medication management, individual therapy, substance abuse treatment, co-occurring disorders treatment, supportive housing, resource linkage, advocacy, family psycho-education and therapy, supportive employment and education development, legal assistance, community integration services, peer support and group counseling.
