Role Description We are seeking a kind, dynamic and dedicated Associate General Dentist to join our vibrant dental team for the days- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 7:30am-4:30pm. In this role, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. Your expertise in general dentistry, combined with your passion for patient care, will contribute to creating a welcoming environment where patients feel confident and cared for. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your clinical skills while working in a supportive and innovative practice setting.ResponsibilitiesPerform thorough patient assessments, including dental examinations, medical history reviews, and oral health evaluations.Deliver high-quality general dentistry services such as dental cleanings, fillings, crowns, root canal therapy, and extractions.Conduct oral surgery procedures with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques while ensuring patient comfort.Utilize dental imaging technology and interpret medical imaging results to diagnose and plan treatment effectively.Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.Collaborate with team members using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient experience.Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and preventive care strategies using clear dental terminology.Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe clinical environment.QualificationsValid California Dental license to practice dentistry as an Associate General Dentist.Proven experience working in dental clinics or dental offices with familiarity in Dentrix software systems.Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and medical documentation standards.Demonstrated ability to perform dental procedures including extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery is a plus.Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs thoroughly and communicate effectively using clear dental terminology.Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and experience maintaining confidential medical records.Ability to work efficiently using four-handed dentistry techniques while maintaining high standards of aseptic technique and infection control practices.Join us in making a positive impact on our patients’ lives through exceptional dental care!
