Accounting Manager - Contract to Hire

Lead core accounting operations for a mission-driven organisation.Play a key role in strengthening financial controls and compliance. Job DescriptionOversee and perform monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations.Manage accounts receivable processes, including contract advances and cash receipts.Coordinate accounts payable and credit card expense allocations.Support and maintain strong internal control processes.Prepare fiscal year-end schedules and documentation for external auditors.Support payroll operations, including funding needs and data entry.Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Assist with special projects and ad hoc requests from finance leadership.
