PRIME Occupational Medicine's MissionPRIME's mission is to provide employers worldwide with the best tools to optimize the efficiency necessary to maximize improvement in each worker's health and safety.Objectives of this role: Perform a variety of on-site clinical and clinic procedures in treating clients in the event they are injured on the job. Perform a variety of administrative duties.ResponsibilitiesProvide information, services, and assistance to clients and patients in an on-site setting and or a PRIME clinic.Administers treatment of work-related injuries and evaluates and documents its effectiveness.Performs client services related to PRIME's, Occupational Health and safety policies and protocols.Ensure jobs and duties are in compliance with PRIME's policies and procedures.Maintains medical supplies inventory and performs preventive maintenance to keep medical equipment operating.Verifies patient information, medical histories by interviewing patients, documenting medical history, and confirming purpose of visit at an on-site setting and at a PRIME clinic if needed.Prepares clients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; drug & alcohol screening, audiograms, EKG's, pulmonary function test, respirator fit test; and reporting patient history summary.Perform phlebotomy service and give injections and vaccinations.Secures patient information and maintains patient confidentiality by completing and safeguarding medical records within PRIME's and or the client's electronic system.Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calibration checks.Improves job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.Protects the practice by adhering to professional standards. Repetitive motion. Extensive use of computers, copy machines and keyboards. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Work is performed in a medical on-site or a clinical setting and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to lift and carry parcels, packages and other items, to walk long distances, climb stairs and drive a vehicle to job sites, deliver and pick up materials.Mental Requirements: Learn new tasks, remember processes, maintain focus, complete tasks independently, make timely decisions in the context of a workflow, ability to communicate with employees and visitors, ability to complete tasks in situations that have a speed or productivity quota.
