Our award-winning office products – seating, sit/stand desks, technology support and lighting – have led the industry in performance and simplicity for over 40 years.\n\nThis role will operate under Advanced Die Casting, LLC as a whole-owned subsidiary of Humanscale.\n\nOverview:\n\nThe Die Casting Operator operates and monitors die casting machines to produce high-quality metal parts while following strict safety and quality standards. Daily tasks include reading visual aids, identifying materials by part numbers, and performing self-inspections on machined and trimmed parts. Workers must also maintain a clean 5S workspace, fill out quality control forms, and follow SQPE (Safety, Quality, and Production Efficiency) processes while reporting any unsafe conditions immediately.\n\nResponsibilities:\nIdentify materials and all related components using assigned part numbers.\nConduct quality self-inspections on machined and trimmed die-cast parts.\nMaintain a clean work area through daily cleanup and post-mold-change maintenance.\nComplete quality control documentation accurately.\nApply Safety, Quality, and Production Efficiency (SQPE) standards to operations.\nComplete required operational documentation following work instructions.\nAdhere to scheduled attendance and punctuality standards.\nReport unsafe acts, conditions, or health hazards immediately to the immediate supervisor or Human Resources.\nFollow safety protocols, equipment standards, and 5S workplace organization principles.\nRead and interpret visual aids and work instructions to successfully execute daily tasks.\nQualifications:\nMust have at least 1 year of experience in the metalworking sector preferred.\nKnowledge of the operating process of machines in the metalworking sector.\nInterpretation and understanding of visual aids.\nAbility to maintain 5S workplace organization standards.\nAbility to safely operate die casting machinery in high-temperature environments.\nKnowledge of working with high temperature machinery.\nBasic knowledge of mathematics.\nHigh School Diploma or Technical Degree preferred.\nBilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.\nFlexible schedule availability.\nAbility to prioritize and stay organized.\nPossesses/develops knowledge regarding products, procedures, and policies.
