The role supports continuous application growth, modernization, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation, while collaborating closely with the Government Task Lead.\r\nThis role is 100% onsite.\r\nSpecific duties include but are not limited to the following\r\nSupport development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise applications and associated databases.\r\nFollow all processes outlined in the Government-approved CSD Software Development Plan (SDP).\r\nReference and comply with all Software Requirements Specifications (SRS) and related documentation.\r\nObtain Government Task Lead approval of preliminary system and database designs before beginning development.\r\nInform the Government Task Lead of potential impacts of software changes and participate in requirements discussions.\r\nPerform comprehensive and regression testing to ensure application functionality, proper access controls, and full implementation of all requirements prior to Government Verification and Validation testing.\r\nResolve software bugs according to approved project schedules; treat any unauthorized lack of requirement implementation as a bug requiring correction.\r\nConduct application troubleshooting, analysis, and issue resolution; enter required software modifications into configuration management for release planning.\r\nFollow Government-led prioritization and versioning for all issues and modifications.\r\nEnsure development, testing, and deployment activities are completed according to the approved project schedule.\r\nTest deployments in staging environments and report/document any issues within 24 hours.\r\nManage application databases, including backups, cleanup of outdated items, software upgrades to approved versions, and database recovery as directed by the Government.\r\nPerform upgrades to website platforms, frameworks, and development tools in coordination with Government-specified timelines.\r\nProvide after-hours or weekend support when recalled for urgent tasks.\r\nPrepare database queries, scripts, and reports upon request to support data access, analysis, and forensics needs.\r\nImplement all technical and security modifications required by the CSD SDP and complete necessary RMF documentation to support certification and accreditation efforts.\r\nAttend regular meetings with the Government Task Lead and/or COR; provide required information, reports, briefings, and meeting minutes.\r\nWhy Work For ISS?\r\nAt ISS we pride ourselves on providing an employee-focused and family first environment.
