(JTI) is looking for a Cutting Operator for our Camarillo location. Will set up and operate the Lazer Trim cutter and PK-C100 guillotine cutting machine, provide support in lamination process and the MTI saw cutting machine until equipment it is removed.\nJTI has over thirty years' experience specializing in the design, manufacture and sales of high-quality Power and RF ceramic chip capacitors, inductors, and Integrated Passive Components into the global electronics market.\n\nHourly Rate (Non-Exempt): $18.25 - $19.00 (DOE)\nTraining Schedule (up to 4 weeks): 6:300 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.\nRegular Schedule (after training is completed): 8:00 p.m. – 4:30 a.m.\n\nCompany Offer Benefits:\nMedical (HMO/PPO/HSA)\nDental (HMO/PPO)\nVision\nCompany Paid Basic Life Insurance\nSupplemental Life Insurance\nPaid time off (i.e. Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and Bereavement)\n401k Savings plus company match\nTuition Assistance\n\nRequired Education and Experience:\nHigh school diploma or GED\nSome Microscope experience\nAt least six (6) months in a manufacturing environment\nAt least six (6) months experience in machine set-up\nBasic computer skills\nGood math skills\nGood verbal and written communication skills\n\nPreferred Education and Experience:\nCutting Operator\nEssential Functions:\nAssemble arbor for saw cutting or guillotine cut\nOperate cutting machines and ensure that cuts are on correct specifications.\nAdjust settings on machine when needed and record output of machine\nWhen using trimmer set-up by using a computer and programming the computer.\nPerform first article inspections using microscopes and/or comparator.\nMonitor the condition of the cutting blades during the cutting process.\nInspect and check for correct dimensions must check all plates per lot. Communicate with leadership or quality team if issues arise or dimensions not in spec.\nRemoved material from plates and prepare to move to next process.\nPlate Cleaning; Ensures carrier plates are free of debris and material (Will use hand tools to remove debris stuck on plate), hand clean plates using alcohol, acetone, and/or other solvents (must wear proper PPE), inspect plates for damage and cleanliness before submitting to the screening department.\nSupports Lamination area - Read travelers, bag plates according to procedure and seal in vacuum baggers.
