(GA-ASI), an affiliate of General Atomics, is a world leader in proven, reliable remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars, as well as advanced high-resolution surveillance systems.\n\nWe have an exciting opportunity for an Integrated Hardware Design Supervisor within the ASI Division located in Poway, CA.\n\nThis position will support routed cable harness design, manufacturing support, cable integration, and work among peers in a team environment.\n\nDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\nSupervise and direct the work of the EE Integrated Hardware Design Engineers and Designers and oversee their output for throughput and quality\nPlan and schedule work assignments for the team. Monitor project schedules, timelines and deliverables using standard project management tools and related engineering systems\nProvide leadership and act as an advisor for determining engineering objectives, guide project planning, oversee design reviews, technical assessments, and design control documentation\nResponsible for the design and integration of routed cables for aircraft, GCS, GSE, and payloads used in unmanned air vehicle systems.\nProvides supervision and direction to design or technical staff.\nDesigning of cables and wire harnesses that interconnect electronic equipment within the vehicle.\nResponsible for generating 3D models of routed cables, cable assembly drawings, cable lengths, routing details, and cable BOMs.\nResponsible for oversight of cable integrations to ensure cables are routed as designed.\nApplies basic technical knowledge to analyze, investigate and resolve assigned routine engineering problems.\nDevelops appropriate documentation of findings and implemented solutions and communicates results to project engineering staff.\nResponsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.\nExpected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.\n\nWe recognize and appreciate the value and contributions of individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences and welcome all qualified individuals to apply.\n\nJob Qualifications\nTypically requires a bachelors degree, masters degree or PhD in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and progressive engineering experience as follows; four or more years of experience with a bachelors degree or two or more years of experience with a masters degree.
