Company: The Malco Group Department: Planning Reports To: Associate Director of SIOP Location: Annandale, MN (Hybrid) Position Overview: The Malco Group is seeking a Supply Planner who will develop and maintain policies for inventory strategies, evaluate demand and balance supply needs, while achieving high service levels. This role guides planning functions to ensure schedules meet established business requirements, supporting Malco’s manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and distribution processes for all facilities. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute supply planning, safety stock, and inventory strategies to meet customer demand while optimizing inventory levels for multiple facilities. Monitor and analyze inventory data, demand forecasts, and supply chain constraints to maintain balance between supply and demand for multiple facilities. Coordinate with manufacturing and procurement to ensure timely availability of items and stock out risks. Develop, track, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain efficiency, inventory health, and fulfillment accuracy for executive dashboards. Assist with creating Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings and participate in execution of initiatives for Malco Group. Compile month-end reports and make recommendations to: End of life, future inventory estimates, excess inventory, company service levels, and product rationalization for multiple sites. Attend necessary cross functional meetings to ensure Bill of Materials, scrap, service levels, and production plans are aligned with company goals. Assist with logistics coordination and warehousing operations to ensure efficient storage and distribution at multiple facilities Assist MPS, MRP Oracle setup across the organization. Support Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) processes and continuous improvement initiatives. Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain 5+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain, and/or scheduling in a manufacturing environment; prior Oracle ERP experience a plus Good proficiency in Microsoft Office for communication, planning, and task management. Excellent excel/data analysis skills, strong ERP troubleshooting skills CPIM or CSCP certification through APICS preferred CPF or ACPF certification through IBF a plus Ability to work cross functionally and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Preferred skills: Self-motivated and collaborative team player. Strong problem-solving skills with root cause analysis capability. Capacity planning, line support, inventory optimization, process development, prioritization, continuous ERP improvement, efficiency initiatives, and partnership with operations and sales to meet customer and revenue targets.
