The objective of this role is to produce roll to roll printed material with the highest degree of quality, as directed each day by production leaders.\n\n3rd Shift Hours: 8:45 pm to 5:15 am, Monday - Friday\n\nCompensation: $24 - $30/hr DOE\n\nEssential Duties and Tasks:\nOperate press in a safe and efficient way; troubleshoot and correct problems as needed.\nConfer with Press Operator from previous shift regarding status of press operations.\nSet up print work on press for approval.\nCheck Color with X-Rite, Enter Values by Roll # into QA Master Software\nSet Impression, Evaluate Quality of Print, Execute Recommended Corrections\nSet Registration, Evaluate Quality of Print, Execute Recommended Corrections\nManage Viscosities of Inks, Ensure Correct Solvent for certain inks\nCollect Ink Samples from Approved Color Jobs\nSet and Evaluate Impression, basic troubleshooting of print defects\nSet and Evaluate Registration, basic trouble shooting of registration float\nEvaluate Materials and Constructions, understand different Tension, Taper, Rewind requirements\nUnderstand various QC Checks and Procedures, Understand Customer Specifications\nFully Understand Job Jacket Contents, Use and Meaning of each item, able to interpret & seek guidance\nBe a Role Model for Work Ethic and Attitude, Press Area Organization and Cleanliness\nSkills and Abilities\nBasic mechanical aptitude.\nAbility to mechanically lift heavy loads in a safe way.\nGood communication skills in the English language (reading, writing, listening and speaking).\nBenefits\nWe offer a comprehensive and flexible benefits package designed to support your well-being and help you thrive—at work and at home.
