Ensures complete end to end development of assigned personnel (direct reports) and/or Operations projects.\r\nWhat a typical day looks like:\r\nHelp with action planning with client, project planning follow-up, space planning, turnover review and workshop participation.\r\nIdentify labor needs, interviews and recruiting activities, implementing training, and coaching / counseling for improved performance.\r\nActivities include staff meetings, customer interactions, vendor/service provider interactions, and internal communications with peers, staff and internal business unit departments.\r\nProtection of company assets.\r\nMaintain compliance with company policies and procedures.\r\nKeep abreast of industry trends and apply LEAN manufacturing concept where ever possible\r\nDirects daily department activities in order to meet production goals.\r\nConfers with management, production and marketing staff to determine manufacturing feasibility, cost effectiveness and customer demand for new and existing products.\r\nForecasts operating costs of department and directs preparation of budget requests.\r\nReviews and establishes material, equipment and manpower resource requirements.\r\nSelects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function.\r\nResponsible for the maintenance of manufacturing equipment, ensuring both preventive maintenance programs and repairs.\r\nAdminister safety programs in order to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees.\r\nGenerates productivity reports and other operations metrics.\r\nThe experience we're looking to add to our team:\r\nTypically requires a bachelor degree or equivalent experience in addition to 5+ years of operations experience.\r\nAbility to operate telephones, data entry, office software including, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation packages and data base systems.\r\nExperience with any ERP system is good to have, excel function knowledge like v-lookups, pivot tables is desired.\r\nPeople management skills and ability to clearly communicate and direct the team and help with any roadblocks.\r\nWhat you'll receive for the great work you provide:\r\nFull range of medical, dental, and vision plans\r\nLife Insurance\r\nShort-term and Long-term Disability\r\nMatching 401(k) Contributions\r\nVacation and Paid Sick Time\r\nTuition Reimbursement\r\nJob Category: Operations\r\nIs Sponsorship Available?
