Key Responsibilities: • Plan, manage, and oversee end-to-end release cycles across applications and environments.• Define release scope, schedules, and deployment strategies; manage dependencies and risks.• Coordinate with development, QA, DevOps, and business teams to ensure smooth release execution.• Govern CI/CD pipelines and ensure release readiness, quality gates, and rollback strategies.• Manage environment readiness, code freezes, version control, and release documentation.• Monitor releases post-deployment, track incidents, and ensure quick resolution of issues.• Ensure compliance with change management, security, and audit requirements.• Drive continuous improvement in release processes, automation, and DevOps maturity. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.• 7+ years of IT experience with at least 3+ years in Release Management or DevOps.• Strong understanding of release management processes, CI/CD pipelines, and version control.• Experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or AWS CodePipeline.• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and deployment practices.• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum and ITIL change/release management processes.• Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred: • Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CSM, or SAFe.• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architectures.• Exposure to monitoring/logging tools (Grafana, ELK, Splunk).• Experience in release automation, environment management, and incident handling.
