Hires, trains, schedules, and manages F&B staff. This position oversees the overall leadership, financial performance, service standards, and operational excellence of all Food & Beverage outlets within the hotel. This includes the restaurant, bar/lounge, room service, and any grab-and-go or pantry outlets. This role ensures guest satisfaction, brand compliance, and a positive, team aligned with hotel standards.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n\nSatisfying guest needs and exceeding their expectations by projecting a positive restaurant and hotel image through appearance, appropriate verbal communication, and taking responsibility of guest needs.\n\nDecision-making in line with service standards throughout each service period to ensure the best guest experience possible.\n\nMaintain control of beverage costs, Inventory of all F&B product, durable and non-durable items.\n\nCommunicate pertinent information to the Food and Beverage Managers and staff at multiple locations.\n\nResponsible for checking outlets to be ready for service including dining rooms are ready for guests, as well as engaging with guests during service.\n\nKnowledge of all menu items and sequence of service.\n\nEnsure that communication with the culinary and sales department is cohesive and timely.\n\nEnsure service standards in the outlets are followed and conduct necessary training.\n\nEnsure that the flow of the guest experience in the hotel is consistent and timely.\n\nAddress guest or staff complaints/questions in a professional manner.\n\nDirect the training of all F&B staff on all aspects of the operations. Inspire, coach, train, and develop the F&B team and staff.\n\nCommunicate with all staff to ensure that they have adequate help and the tools that are required to do their job.\n\nResponsible for refining operating standards and practices as needed based on business conditions.\n\nDirect focus on service, customer satisfaction, and profitability. Maintain the quality and consistency of the guest experience.\n\nFocus on creative cost control and revenue generating solutions.\n\nAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.\n\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.\n\nEnsure that sanitation and cleanliness standards are excellent being compliant with local, state, and federal regulations.\n\nEstablishes and maintains policies and procedures for the Food and Beverage Department.\n\nWork in tandem with Sales and the Culinary team to drive the experience in all outlets, to drive the sale and growth of this business segment and stays on top of restaurant trends and communicates relevant information effectively to the team.\n\nChanges and applies food & beverage selections to Simphony.\n\nCreates and manages development of new business through dinners and special events\n\nProvides ongoing wine and liquor training.\n\nSchedules staff tastings.\n\nOther duties may be assigned.\n\nSupervisory Responsibilities\n\nDirectly supervises all employees in Food & Beverage\n\nInterviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems\n\nQualifications\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
