Logistics Analyst

Our client—a leading global medical device company—is hiring a Logistics Analyst to support operational efficiency at their flagship distribution center in Phoenix. This is more than just a logistics role: you’ll combine data-driven production planning with continuous improvement initiatives, working alongside the Operational Excellence team to optimize how life-saving products are distributed.This is an ideal role for someone who thrives at the intersection of systems, process, and people—and is ready to take their supply chain and planning skills to the next level.Projects You’ll Work OnAnalyze order backlog and prioritize tasks based on SLAs and carrier pick-up schedulesBuild and release picking waves using WMS and ERP tools (SalesPad, Koerber, etc.)Identify production inefficiencies and lead continuous improvement projects in partnership with the OpEx teamMonitor real-time order status and shift plans as needed to optimize throughputManage labor allocation across shifts in coordination with warehouse supervisorsUse Excel and system reporting to track plan vs. fulfillment and deliver key insights to leadershipInitiate and lead Kaizen events to eliminate process waste and bottlenecksSupport ongoing documentation of new processes and standard work proceduresLeverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot) to automate tasks and improve reporting or communicationsWhat Experience You Should Bring4–6 years of combined warehouse and computer-based planning experienceStrong working knowledge of WMS and ERP systems (Koerber and SalesPad preferred)Microsoft Excel proficiency with strong data analysis and planning trackingPrior exposure to Lean Six Sigma methodologies; Kaizen leadership a strong plusExperience communicating operational challenges to both floor teams and executive leadershipUse of generative AI tools to increase productivity is a bonus
