Drafting Intern

Job Title: Drafting InternEVAPCO Inc. is an Employee-Owned manufacturing company with global resources and solutions for worldwide heat transfer applications headquartered in Taneytown, MD and has an opening for a Drafting Intern. We are looking for a self-motivated and detail-oriented person to join our team!Specific Responsibilities:Makes detail drawings and assembly drawings from solid models created by Sr. Designers, Designers, and Sr. DraftersLearns Solid Edge knowledge and skillsWorks on simple Drafting ProjectsRevise drafts and models, directed by Sr. Designers, Designers, and Sr. DraftersChecks own workQualifications:Must have Drafting and Design classes and currently be working towards a Certificate or Associates Degree in Computer Drafting and Design Technology field (or related)Ability to work in a team environmentPossess excellent communication and computer skillsPossess excellent organizational skillsExperience in a sheet metal manufacturing environment a plusA working knowledge of Autodesk Revit BIM software a plusEqual Opportunity EmployerNormal Business hours: Monday through Friday 8:30 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
